Vendetta is the fourth set for the Riftbound: League of Legends TCG. This new expansion places the rivalries of the League of Legends universe at the heart of the game and introduces several new mechanics.
The French version of Riftbound Vendetta is scheduled for October 23, 2026. Here is what you need to know before its release.
When is Riftbound Vendetta coming out ?
Vendetta has already been released in English and Chinese on July 31, 2026.
For French-speaking players, Riftbound Vendetta booster packs in French will arrive on October 23, 2026.
This date will be particularly important for Riftbound in French as Radiance, Set 5, will also be released in French on the same day. The French catalog will thus catch up with international releases, and future releases will be synchronized.

What is the theme of Vendetta?
As the name suggests, Vendetta is dedicated to rivalries.
The set highlights iconic clashes from the League of Legends universe: old allies, historical enemies, members of the same family, or champions with opposing philosophies.
Among the rivalries highlighted by Riftbound, we notably find Shen and Zed, as well as Mel and Ambessa.
This identity is reflected both in the new cards and in certain alternative illustrations designed to work in pairs.
Which champions are featured in Vendetta?
Vendetta introduces 9 new available Legends/Champions, available as previously in Legend, Showcase, and signed Showcase versions.
Akali, Kennen, Zed, Shen, Mel, Ambessa, Renekton, Nasus, and Jayce will be featured.

Three new mechanics: Flow, Burn, and Empower
Vendetta introduces three main mechanics that enrich Riftbound's gameplay.
Flow
Flow allows you to play certain cards from your discard pile rather than from your hand.
The card is then banished, meaning it can only be used once.
This mechanic opens up new possibilities regarding resource reuse and allows for building strategies capable of taking advantage of cards that have already been used.
Burn
Burn consists of sending cards from the main deck to the discard pile.
Depending on the card used, you will be able to burn your own deck to fuel certain synergies or directly attack the opponent's deck resources.
Flow and Burn should therefore naturally create new interactions around the discard pile.
Empower
Cards possessing Empower can gain new abilities once they are already in play, usually after paying an additional cost.
You can thus play a card and then strengthen its potential during a later turn.
New card types are also arriving
Vendetta does not just add new mechanics.
The set notably introduces Unit-Gear, cards that count simultaneously as a unit and as equipment.
Decrees also make their appearance as a cycle of spells designed around the rivalries between the different Domains.
New tokens also accompany these mechanics, including Tentacle, Shadow Clone, and the Empower marker.
Vendetta should also interest collectors
Riftbound continues to develop the collecting aspect of the game with Vendetta.
The set notably offers new Alt Arts,
6 Crystal Rose variants inspired by the Wild Rift universe, as well as many alternative cards revolving around champion rivalries:

Collectors will be able to find illustrations designed in diptychs: two associated cards form a composition depicting a rivalry from the League of Legends universe.

What is in a Riftbound Vendetta booster pack?
Each Vendetta booster pack contains:
-
7 common cards;
-
3 uncommon cards;
-
1 foil slot;
-
2 slots that can contain Rare, Epic, Showcase, or signed cards...
-
1 Token, Rune, or Alt Rune slot.
